Making Tax Digital (MTD) is the government’s Initiative to transform the tax system and move it fully online. The government’s aim is to digitalise the UK Tax System and make sure businesses get the right tax and keep on top of their affairs. VAT registered businesses with a taxable turnover above £85,000 must follow the Making Tax Digital rules by keeping digital records and using a software to submit their tax return online.
